ROSHIE has appeared through live performers and virtual embodiments. Each appearance adds to the same character, whether she is towering above a crowd or meeting people in VR.

She is also a natural place to explore what Althea might enable: a persistent personality with memory and continuity across different bodies and interfaces. That work is in development. The performances that brought her to life are real.
